Unregistered Users
We encourage people to register with us to ensure the site’s personalisation features are set up for them. If you choose not to, the information we collect is limited to logging your IP address. This allows us to track usage statistics, but we cannot and do not attempt to identify you from this.
We also place cookies on your computer’s hard drive, which allows us to identify the way you navigate through the site and to determine whether you have visited before, data we analyse to improve how the site functions. Registered Users
Once registered, you can create and post your own events (Flocks) and fully participate in all the site functions available to users.
When registering, you supply all of some of the following: your name, email address and password. We will store this information on our server and an unique identifier will be stored in a cookie on your computer so that the site recognises you on your subsequent visits. If you leave Flocklocal, any events that you have created or attended will remain on the system.
If you reach the site via a third party site with whom you have registered, then we may also add any information transmitted to us to your profile stored on our server, but only on the terms of this Privacy Policy, not that of the third party.
We may use your personal information to contact you periodically with news or important updates from Flocklocal, or to provide you with events relevant to you, or to request your feedback on the site. In addition, we will ask whether you want to opt-in to receiving further types of additional material. Your current list of newsletters and other types of information that you are set to receive can be accessed and amended at any time in the ‘Account Settings’ section of ‘Your FLOCKLOCAL’.

Disclosure of your personal information
Flocklocal does not make any of your personal information available to any third party, other than purely aggregated data from all users for the purpose of advertising and marketing the site.
Your profile will be publicly viewable on Flocklocal. Your email address will not be viewable or accessible by any other users.
Children
The Site is not directed to persons under 16. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personally identifiable information without their consent, he or she should contact us at legal[@]Flocklocal (remove the square brackets). If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal identifiable Information, we will delete such information from our files.
