Leith Links Clean-up Event

As part of our ongoing mission to improve Leith Links we're organising a community clean-up event. We'll be based at the Bowling Green building on the West of the Links between 10am and 2pm, where we'll be dishing out clean-up kit and possibly other goodies, to people who drop in to help out.

What should we bring, or wear?

Dress for the weather. Wear outdoor shoes, you don't mind getting muddy. We supply gloves and everything else you might need. If you're under 16 years of age, and you'd like to come, you'll need to bring an adult to take responsibility for you.

How do we get there? (Public transport, car parking, etc)

Car parking is unrestricted, but we'd encourage you to walk, cycle, or take the bus. Loads of buses run past Leith Links. See the Lothian Buses route map for more information: http://lothianbuses.com/routemap.php

Who will this benefit?

This will benefit the thousands of people who use Leith Links each year, and taking part will give you a nice warm glow too.

What will we be doing?

No specialist skills required - we'll be using litter picks to clear litter and rubbish from Leith Links.
